ABOUT

WELCOME TO OLIVE & VINE GUESTHOUSE

This updated, historical Victorian home offers a unique, boutique-style stay just one block off McMinnville's charming Third Street and within 20 miles of 250 vineyards.

Experience the beauty of the area through locally-made goods and artwork featured throughout the house.

The Space

Olive & Vine Guesthouse is unlike any other in the Willamette Valley. Built in 1895, the historical Victorian home has been thoughtfully renovated to accommodate modern-day needs. McMinnville is pretty special, and it is our goal to help guests experience the area by featuring local makers and artisans throughout the house, including the many types of beautiful plants from Sustainable Rituals that keep the house feeling fresh.

The Kitchen
Those who love to cook will feel right at home in the gourmet kitchen, completely equipped with gas range, microwave, blender, food processor, slow cooker, toaster, pasta maker, waffle maker, spices, bakeware, and so much more. Guests will also get to taste items from local makers, such as Durant Olive Mill and Vineyards olive oil and vinegar, Flag & Wire coffee, and Tea Musketeers tea.

The Living Room
Cozy up on the sectional couch to read a good book or listen to music on the record player/Bluetooth speaker while enjoying the warmth from the electric fireplace. Guests who want to watch a film can sign into their streaming service on the Smart TV, which also includes basic cable.

The Dining Room
Set the six-foot dining room table (linens and serveware provided) for a fantastic feast with friends or family. Enjoy happy hour with a drink made at the bar, which is fully equipped for any cocktail-making needs (minus the alcohol).

The Game Room/Office
Let the games begin! A variety of games and puzzles are available for a night of competitive fun or a selection of books for an afternoon of reading. And for those who need to get work done, the doors can be closed to provide a private office space.

Outdoor Space
The private backyard is an ideal spot to unwind. Featuring outdoor hanging lights, a BBQ grill, a seating area, a dining area, a handmade chess/checkers table, fountain, giant tower game, and a bar, the space is a great place to enjoy a little fresh air with friends.

Your Hosts
We (Kate and Christopher) love where we live and can't wait to share it with you. I started my career as a travel writer and now work in the food world, which has given me particular insight into what makes a vacation really special. Christopher is a preservation carpenter and has worked exceedingly hard to make this historical Victorian really shine. We hope you are delighted by the smallest details and that your time here is something you smile about for years to come.

GUEST REVIEW

"My family, friends, and I had such a lovely time at Olive & Vine. The kitchen is so well-appointed, and the living room is the perfect place to reconnect with loved ones. The last year has been long and isolating, and we felt safe in this clean, newly renovated home."
